As Americans, we owe our freedoms, opportunities, and very lifestyles to the men and women who so bravely served in the military. These Americans earned every retirement benefit they receive and more. My prayer is for all retirees, and especially those who retired from military service, to be thriving rather than surviving.
In reality, however, more retired folks are probably struggling to make ends meet. At the very least, they probably would like more income to live the lives they truly desire. If you are one of these folks, you may wish to have a nicer home, a newer car, or the ability to travel to some exotic places just for fun.
That was the case for us. Working a full-time job with inadequate pay and way too little time off was not our idea of real living. We wanted more control over our time and more money to control as well. Thanks to our "stumbling" on a lucrative home business that allows us to thrive instead of survive, we are enjoying life more than ever. The best part is that we can share this with others and mentor them to the same level of success.
